Phrases
Sometimes I use phrases that may be 'foreign' to some persons reading this blog. Here is a list of those phrases with included translations. Enjoy!
Allah: Allah is the respected term that muslims use to call or refer to God.
Asalamualykum: Peace be upon you This is a sentence taught by our prophet may peace be upon him that muslims all over the world use to greet other muslims.
Alhamdulillah (al-hum-do-lil-lah): All praise to Allah (God)
Ma Sha Allah: Whatever Allah wishes
In Sha Allah: If Allah wishes
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon: Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him shall we return
