DIY Sports/Workout Tank

Asalamualaykum lovely people of the Internet!

Today I'm back with a super cool and quick DIY.

I find that when I have cool or cute shirts and tanks to wear when I work out, it motivates me to actually hit the gym every now and then. So here is a super quick and easy DIY on how to make your own sports tank from a t-shirt, and also how to write stuff on it!

You will need:

A t-shirt (I used an old one I had lying around)
Scissors
Tape
Computer & Printer
Scrap Paper
Thick random book
Fabric Marker (I got mine from Michael's)

Step 1:

Cut off the sleeves, hem and collar of your t-shirt to your desired liking.

Step 2:

Grab your random book, tape a scrap paper on top of it and slide it inside your shirt so it. This will act as sort of a hard surface to write on and it will also keep the marker ink from bleeding onto the other side of your t-shirt.

Step 3:

First type your logo on Microsoft Word or Pages. Make sure to choose a large and bold font. Print out the logo or sentence you would like to have on your t-shirt.

Step 4:

Take your printed logo or sentence, and put it inside your t-shirt on top of your random book and scrap paper. Tape it in place.

Step 5:

Get out your fabric marker and start tracing your logo or sentence. Colour it in if you have to.

Tip: It helps if you stretch out the fabric that surrounds the area you are colouring with your fingers.

Tip 2: Please, please, please read the instructions on how to use your fabric marker before you actually start to use it. Not all companies will have the same instructions and depending on which fabric marker you get you will have different instructions on how to use it!

Step 6:

Let the logo or sentence dry for however long it says it will take on the instruction package for your fabric marker.

Step 7:

Put your newly up-cycled t-shirt now turned into a sports tank on and go hit the gym!

Peace.

P.S.

Enjoy your new sports/tank!
